Awaves is made by students, for students. We envision a future in which the party music experience is hyper-personalized to the people and the mood. We love good vibes in parties and we think technology can take them to the next level!
We want to change the world by building good technologies. This is not done by individuals, but by combining all kinds of different backgrounds and skills. We want to design, build and market cool things. All skills and perspectives are welcome from philosophy to business, and from creative design to programming.
The team
At Awaves, we believe that everyone should have a say in what music is played at house parties. This ideal of inclusivity and acceptance also permeates on our company. We’re a tight team of students from UTwente in the Netherlands. We all love music, but not the same genres. We wanted a tool that could generate a music mix that we would all be happy with. That’s how Awaves was born!
The workplace
We work at Incubase, in the Bastille building at the UTwente campus. We love the vibes in here, everyone is so entrepreneurial and happy to help with any problem!
